In Joburg you are exposed to the whole of Africa. It’s like the Capital of Africa. There are people from all kinds of places that are now sharing the same streets and spaces, and we’re using creativity to link us all together, and bridge our differences. We have way more in common than we think.

And we’re weaving these threads together. We’re creating some of the most amazing art, music, film and dance, that is influenced by these city streets.

We’re starting to find different, authentic voices that reflect our lives, and connect us to each other, and to the world. And I think we’re only getting going. There’s nowhere else I’d rather be.
